I very much enjoyed your review. Thank you. I'm a huge fan of Wilson and his books. I thought his argument in "The Creation" was powerful. However, in his attempt to reach the "pastor" I think he failed. Wilson chose to speak in terms of evolution and often used a geologic time scale in the book. A Creationist Christian accepts neither of these concepts. If the argument is that we have a common need to save life on Earth, the argument needs to be made on common ground. All the talk about evolution becomes a distraction. Instead, Wilson might have chosen an argument based on more recent and obvious changes to the planet - changes someone who rejects evolution could understand and accept. Considering his intended audience, I think that would have been a better choice.
