The U.S. Climate Change Science Program, in coordination with the Office of
Science and Technology Policy and Council on Environmental Quality, has prepared a draft report on climate change that is currently in its public comment phase through August 14, 2008.

The report is a Unified Synthesis Product (USP) issued by a U.S. Department of
Commerce Federal Advisory Committee operating under the authority of the
Federal Advisory Committee Act.

The draft report committee was composed of an expert team of scientists and supporting professionals. The report is based on published, peer-reviewed data and reports.
